Golden Grains

Planting season doesn't last long but it needs intention.

I recently planted a garden. Rows drawn, plan made so plants are beside those which are compatible.

Did you know some plants don't like each other and inhibit each other's growth?Necessary information helps multiply the harvest.

Everything is growing with the amount of rain we've had.

The corn is taller than I am. The potato plants are waist-high. The zucchini plant is half the height of the corn. The spaghetti squash plant has expanded across the entire garden.

Did I cause the growth? No, I planted the seeds, and watered three times and God in his design, provided the rain and sunshine. He also designed how the growth of each plant took place in the DNA of each seed.

I Corinthians 3:5-9 says:

" What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe--as theLord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed. Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants, and the one who waters have one purpose and they will each be rewarded according to their own labour. For we are co-workers in God's service; you are God's field. God's building." (NIV)

My siblings and I are part of God's harvest from seeds planted three generations ago. We want to carry on the sowing of seeds through our music and writing. We want to water the growth of fellow believers. Join us in prayer for the upcoming times where we share our album with others.
