Do You Know That Jesus Loves You?

It doesn't matter the age, everyone wants to know they are loved from the inside out!

Involved in children's ministry? in daycare? In education? As your eyes roam the room, do you detect those children who feel insecure or unloved or unwanted by those around them? Crank up the song 'Do You Know', to remind them and each of us we are desired by God.

Do You Know?

Lani Fast Wiens, my beautiful sister-in-law wrote a song to remind us that Jesus wants to hug us from the inside. It declares there is a place for each us in the kingdom and family of God.

The song counteracts the lies of the enemy. The enemy insists we have no value to God. His job is to rob us of knowing God chose us before the creation of the world. He hisses that we will never be enough. Declares we don't belong.

Ephesians1:4-5 NLT says, "Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do and it gave him great pleasure."

This statement counteracts the smear campaign of the enemy. Did you see the line where it says, 'it gave him great pleasure'. Does that sound like the stingy lie that we will never be good or holy enough to belong?

Just wanted to remind us that we are chosen. Fix your eyes on why we have been chosen.
